District 9 has been one of my favorites since it came out, it's such an intense movie. The first time I watched it, I'd acquired a low quality version from a questionable source, but it was still a sweet watch. But when I later saw the dvd, I was blown away. The realism and detail, well technology has come a long way. If it were in 3D, it'd probably make a fair comparison to Avatar. Zavvi have the DVD on sale, 60% off. I actually watched this 7 or 8 times when it came out. Two and a half years later, it's just as intense and you can buy it with loose change. £2.99 is all it takes. Delivered free, you get DVD quality, which beats that poor quality downlo.. cinema experience you were subjected to. Leonidas and the Spartans go to town on the Persians. I gave it 9/10 at the time. Whether you've seen it already or not, £2.99 is madness. ...madness!?
