Navman F10 SatNav GPS Unit Review
This is a great little unit. Small, light and perfect for my use which is on my scooter. Although I think that it would work better in a car as it would be better mounted. I wish it had a headphone socket on the GPS unit but all the directions are on the monitor. It tells me when and where my next turn is, what road I am on, what road I am turning onto next, time to destination, distance to destination and THEN it has the map in front of you with all the road information again which makes it all easy. I was very surprised what a light, portable unit it is. 3 hr battery when used without charger. DONT buy a home charger for it just get a USB cable (one with a little end on it) and charge it off your computer. The car charger and mount bracket are included.
The reason I chose this over the TomTom UK is that it has expandable maps option. It has a memory slot option to buy other maps around the world. The TomTom GB V3 wdid not have this option. Navman is a good competitor to TomTom for sure.

thanks for the review these have been going really cheap and it seems to be a new not old model as some people suspect. I emailed them (NAVMAN) about more maps and they said they were coming in April for Western Europe so that is good news.

yeah - I think this is new for the F range but the rest of the F sat nav range is phased out. maybe they wanted to keep a cheap alternative to compete with TomTom GB model.
