Look - MONO sound ! Is that why its so cheap ?
suppose you want to use it as cd player, mp3 etc...in glorious mono sound, not even stereo, not dolby 5.1 etc, just plain old mono, manufactured in 2007!

I don't think that makes sense when it says "* 2 channel stereo output."
I am guessing the mono is an option maybe?
