I was out shopping for something I could not get online yesterday. The excited buzz of Christmas was fun.
People for miles and a real feeling of merriment, Ginger bread latte's and entertaining Christmas window installations.

Without doubt I was over whelmed by the numbers walking 4 deep onto the road near Harrods in Knightsbridge.

The down hit with the weather, so cold and so miserable. I feel for the droves of tourists fighting their way in for an experience they can take away - shopping at Harrods, Harvey Nicks etc.

One thing is for sure and that is shopping online loses some experience but the convenience wins for me. Shopping for one or two items is fun but I could not imagine shopping for all my presents with the masses.

It will be a great Christmas this year. Lets hope for some snow for the kids!
