Developed in 2008 by David Moritz, Blubba (in it's current form) came about almost by accident. Following an over-shipment of mobile handsets during the UK's recession, David needed to act fast to resell the vast stock of handsets he had acquired, whilst they were still a much desired device. Whilst eBay was the immediate and obvious choice, it turned out that given the volumes Blubba was able to shift in any given week, it would work out more cost effective to the consumer for Blubba to operate independently of the online auction format. So, Blubba.co.uk was born, and from day one passed the cost savings straight back to the consumer - i.e. you.
